Cable Trolleys

Kito cable trolleys are the core components of festoon systems that deliver power and control cables to moving cranes, hoists, and material handling equipment. Designed for overhead cranes, gantry cranes, and mobile equipment, Kio cable trolleys maintain continuous electrical connectivity across the crane’s full working range while preventing cable tangling, minimizing drag, and protecting cable integrity. Kito offers two types: T-track trolleys with guide rollers on sides and bottom for smoother operation, especially in double-girder configurations; and taut wire trolleys for simplified, economical installation on messenger wires. For OEMs, integrators, and plant upgrades, Kito cable trolleys deliver reliable power-in-motion.

Two Festoon Types

T-Track carriers for heavy cable bundles, taut wire for light to medium duty

Guide Roller Design

Side and bottom rollers ensure smooth cable movement, reduced drag

Cable Protection

Prevents tangling, chafing, and wear – extends cable operational life

Double-Girder Compatible

T-track design ideal for double-girder overhead cranes

Messenger Wire Option

Low-cost, simplified suspension for lighter cable bundles

Long Travel Traversing

Maintains electrical connectivity across full crane working range

T-Track vs. Taut Wire Cable Trolleys – Which Festoon System is Right?

Kito T-track cable trolleys ride on a rigid steel track and incorporate guide rollers on the sides and bottom. Use for double-girder overhead cranes (preventing sway between trolleys) or heavy cable bundles. Kito taut wire cable trolleys slide along a messenger wire stretched between runway ends. Use for single-girder cranes, jib cranes, or lighter cable needs where cost and simplicity matter. Both types are available in wheel sizes and materials matching your cable weight, travel speed, and environmental conditions.

Industries Using Kito Cable Trolley Festoon Systems

Overhead cranes (EOT systems), gantry cranes, port equipment, mobile machinery, automated assembly lines, paint booths with moving curing ovens, monorail conveyor power, and any application where moving equipment requires continuous cable supply. Kito cable trolleys are standard in festoon system packages for Kito’s own crane components and available as upgrade parts for existing crane systems.
