CB Series

The Kito CB Series manual chain hoist is the workhorse of heavy manual lifting, with capacities from 500 kg up to an impressive 50 tons. Designed for environments where electricity is unavailable or undesirable, the CB chain hoist delivers reliable vertical lifting using a hand chain mechanism that converts small operator force into large lifting power. The CB series features a high-strength load chain, precision-engineered gears, low manual operating force, and a rugged housing that withstands heavy industrial use. Kito CB manual chain hoists operate in extreme temperatures (−40°C to +60°C) and are GS-certified for safe operation. For construction, mining, shipbuilding, infrastructure projects and heavy equipment installation, the CB series provides unmatched lifting capacity without power.

Where Do You Need a 50-Ton Manual Chain Hoist?

While electric hoists handle routine lifting, specific situations demand the Kito CB series. Remote mining exploration has no power lines. Shipyard drydocks cannot risk electrical sparks. Construction sites have temporary power at best. Bridge building and heavy infrastructure often require lifts where installing power would be cost-prohibitive. In these cases, the Kito CB manual chain hoist provides 50 tons of lifting capacity powered entirely by human effort. For emergency backup when electric hoists fail, a CB hoist keeps production moving. With lifting heights up to 3.5 meters on large models, the CB series handles big lifts safely and reliably.

Industries Using Kito CB Chain Hoists

Power generation plant turbine maintenance, heavy equipment installation, mining operations, ship construction, heavy steel erection, infrastructure projects (bridges, tunnels), oil refinery maintenance, locomotive assembly, heavy machinery repair, lumber handling, and large-scale construction use Kito CB manual hoists. The 50-ton CB chain block is often the only practical lifting solution for extreme capacities in remote locations.
