KITO

Chain Sling

Kito chain slings provide secure, durable attachment between your hoist or crane hook and the load being lifted. Manufactured from premium alloy steel, Kito chain slings are available in Grade 80 (standard heavy lifting) and Grade 100 (higher strength, lower weight) configurations with individual link diameters from 6.0 mm to 20.0 mm. Kito chain slings are assembled with certified fittings including master links, hooks, couplers, and adjustable chain legs to create custom configurations for any load geometry. All Kito chain slings are proof-tested, magnetically inspected and clearly marked with working load limits. For overhead lifting with chain hoists, overhead cranes or mobile cranes, Kito chain slings deliver reliable, code-compliant load attachment.

Magnetic Crack Inspection

Ensures flaw-free links for critical lifting applications

Selecting the Right Chain Sling for Your Lifting Application

Kito chain slings are designated by grade – Grade 80 is standard for most industrial lifting, while Grade 100 offers 25% higher strength at the same link diameter, allowing lighter slings for equivalent capacities. Choose leg configuration: single-leg for straight lifts, two-leg or three-leg for balanced loads, or basket configurations for supporting loads from underneath. Consider sling angle – as the angle between legs decreases, the effective working load limit reduces. Kito chain slings can include adjustable legs for uneven loads or fixed lengths for repeat lifts.

Industries Using Kito Chain Slings

Steel service centers, construction sites, shipbuilding, heavy equipment manufacturing, mining operations, scrap handling, foundries, infrastructure projects, and heavy fabrication. Kito chain slings are used wherever chain hoists, overhead cranes, and mobile cranes require secure load attachment. Complete assemblies include identification tags, working load limit markings, and inspection records for compliance with ASME B30.9 and OSHA regulations.
