ED-III Series

The Kito ED-III Series electric chain hoist is the ultimate solution for locations where 3-phase power is unavailable. Engineered as a single-phase electric chain hoist operating on standard 230V AC or 120V AC power, the ED-III delivers compact, lightweight, high-speed lifting for light-duty material handling. Capacities range from 60 kg to 480 kg, with single-speed and dual-speed models available including a cylinder control variant for one-hand operation. Weighing as little as 11.5 kg for the 100 kg capacity model, the ED-III features a nickel-plated load chain, IP54 hoist body enclosure, IP65 push button pendant and integrated mechanical brake with overload protection. The ED-III electric hoist is ideal for quick installation, portable lifting tasks and workshops lacking industrial 3-phase supply.

Where Kito ED-III Excels – Portable & Low-Power Lifting

The Kito ED-III electric chain hoist is purpose-built for shops, labs, maintenance facilities, small fabrication units, warehouses and equipment repair where 3-phase power is either too costly to install or simply not available. The cylinder control type is particularly useful for overhead line maintenance, confined-space lifting and anywhere an operator needs one hand free to guide the load. With IP65 push button pendant and overhead trolley compatibility, the ED-III transforms a standard I-beam into a functional electric lift for light- to medium-duty material handling.

Industries Using ED-III Electric Hoists

Automotive service centers, wind turbine maintenance, construction sites, electrical substation repair, stage and theater rigging, school workshops, remote mining sites, agricultural maintenance, shipyard drydock operations, and HVAC installation all benefit from ED-III portability and single-phase convenience. Mounting options include hook suspension, plain trolley or geared trolley. For mobile lifting needs, the ED-III is light enough to move between workstations or transport to offsite locations in service vehicles.
