KITO

LB Series

The Kito LB Series lever hoist combines vertical lifting and horizontal pulling capability in a rugged, heavy-duty tool rated for capacities from 0.8 ton up to 9 tons. Unlike chain hoists that only lift vertically, the LB lever hoist uses a ratcheting lever mechanism to raise, lower, or tension loads in any direction, making it ideal for angled lifting, equipment alignment, cable tensioning, and pulling operations. The Kito LB lever hoist features a low-effort lever action, nickel-plated load chain, durable all-weather housing, and overload protection. The LB series is used extensively in construction, shipbuilding, mining, infrastructure, and industrial rigging where operators need to both lift and pull. GS certified for safety and reliable from −40°C to +60°C.

Lever Hoist vs. Chain Hoist – When to Choose LB Series

The Kito LB lever hoist is not a replacement for a traditional chain hoist – it is a different tool for different work. Use a chain hoist (CB/CX) when you need pure vertical lifting: raising an engine block, hoisting materials to an upper floor, or positioning heavy equipment. Use a lever hoist (LB/LX) when you need to pull horizontally (dragging equipment across a floor), align pipe flanges, tension cables, hold a load in position, or lift at an angle where a chain hoist would jam. For rigging professionals, pipefitters, millwrights and erectors, the LB lever hoist is indispensable.

Industries Using Kito LB Lever Hoists

Shipbuilding and repair (pulling cable trays, aligning hull sections), construction (positioning steel beams, tensioning formwork), mining (moving equipment, tensioning conveyor systems), pipeline work (pulling pipes together for welding), heavy equipment installation (aligning machinery feet to foundation bolts), utility line maintenance (tensioning conductors), railway track work (aligning rails), and rescue operations. The LB series provides controlled, incremental movement – essential when loads must be positioned within millimeters.
