Lifting Points

Kito Lifting Points (swivel hoist rings) provide safe, versatile load attachment for overhead lifting, side lifting, load turning and reversing operations where traditional eye bolts are insufficient. Unlike fixed-direction eye bolts, Kito Lifting Points feature a 360° rotating shackle that also pivots 180°, allowing the lifting ring to align with the load direction automatically – eliminating dangerous side loading on bolts. Available in 21 standard sizes from M8 to M64 with working load limits from 0.3 ton up to 20 tons, Kito lifting points are manufactured from high-strength bolts (tensile strength class 10.9) and achieve up to three times the working load of JIS standard eye bolts with the same thread diameter. Kito lifting points are registered with Japan’s NETIS new technology system.

Why Replace Eye Bolts with Kito Lifting Points

Traditional eye bolts are designed ONLY for straight vertical lifting. When side loaded (common in rigging, turning, or reversing operations), standard eye bolts can bend or fail catastrophically. Kito lifting points, with their 360° swivel ring and 180° pivot action, accept loads from any direction – the ring always aligns to the load path, not the tapped hole. This means operators can lift, rotate, turn over, and side-pull without exceeding the lifting point’s rated capacity. For die handling, equipment turning during maintenance, and any multi-directional lifting, Kito lifting points are the safe, code-compliant solution.

Industries Using Kito Lifting Points

Heavy equipment manufacturing, die and mold handling, shipbuilding (turning hull sections), construction (tilting precast concrete), steel fabrication (flipping beams), mining equipment assembly, transformer manufacturing, locomotive repair, and any operation requiring load turning or side pulling. Registering with NETIS (Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism) confirms Kito lifting points as approved new technology for infrastructure and public works projects.
