Manual Chain Hoists
Kito manual chain hoists provide reliable, portable lifting anywhere power is unavailable or impractical. The range includes manual chain hoists (CB and CX Series) for vertical lifting and lever hoists (LB and LX Series) for both lifting and pulling applications. Kito manual chain hoists operate in extreme temperatures from −40°C to +60°C, making them perfect for outdoor construction, remote mining, shipping and backup lifting. Capacities range from 250 kg on the ultra-portable CX up to 50 tons on the heavy-duty CB series. All Kito manual chain hoists feature nickel-plated load chains for corrosion resistance, heat-treated gears, asbestos-free brakes, double-pawl safety mechanisms and GS certification. Compact, lightweight and easy to maintain, Kito manual hoists deliver decades of trouble-free service.

Manual Chain Hoist vs. Lever Hoist – Which Do You Need?
Kito manual hoists fall into two categories. Manual chain hoists (CB and CX Series) are designed for vertical lifting only – the operator pulls the hand chain to raise or lower a load along a vertical path. These are the classic chain blocks found in workshops, warehouses and construction. Lever hoists (LB and LX Series) provide both vertical lifting and horizontal pulling – the operator moves a lever back and forth to raise, lower or tension a load in any direction. Lever hoists are ideal for aligning pipe flanges, tensioning cables, pulling equipment into position, or angled lifting where a chain hoist cannot operate. Select based on whether you need pure vertical lift (CB/CX) or multi-directional pull and lift (LB/LX).

Industries Using Kito Manual Hoists
Kito manual chain hoists are trusted in construction site rigging, infrastructure projects, shipbuilding and dockyards, mining and tunneling, railway maintenance, logistics and warehousing, automotive assembly support, heavy machinery installation, utility line maintenance, agricultural equipment handling, and emergency backup lifting. The portability and zero-power requirement also makes them standard equipment on service trucks, field maintenance crews, and in areas where volatile atmospheres prohibit electrical equipment.
