Motorized Trolley

The Kito Motorized Trolley provides powered horizontal movement for electric chain hoists, wire rope hoists, and overhead crane systems. Designed with inverter-controlled travel as an option, the motorized trolley delivers smooth acceleration and deceleration, minimizing load swing and enabling precise positioning of sensitive loads. Kito motorized trolleys are available in a wide range of capacities and can be customized for various I-beam widths, rail profiles and operating speeds. The motorized trolley integrates seamlessly with Kito ER2, EQ, ED-III, and RY hoists, creating a complete powered hoisting and traversing solution. For high-frequency operations, long traverse lengths, or when operator fatigue is a concern, Kito motorized trolleys reduce manual effort and increase productivity.

Why Add a Motorized Trolley to Your Kito Hoist

A Kito motorized trolley transforms a manual hoist into a fully powered overhead handling system. For assembly lines feeding materials along a track, the motorized trolley moves loads from station to station without operator walking. For large machine shops, the motorized trolley traverses the full crane span at the touch of a button, not by pulling a hand chain. For facilities with multiple workstations under one crane runway, a motorized trolley speeds throughput and reduces labor costs. When paired with a Kito radio remote control, the operator controls both hoisting and traversing from the optimal vantage point.

Industries Using Motorized Trolleys

Automotive assembly lines, steel service centers, heavy equipment manufacturing, warehouse and distribution systems, foundries, power generation plants, shipbuilding, large maintenance facilities, high-volume fabrication, and any operation where loads must move horizontally multiple times per hour. Motorized trolleys are standard on automated material handling systems and overhead crane bridges where full crane movement is required.
