The Rossi EP Series is a comprehensive family of modular planetary gear reducers and gearmotors engineered for applications requiring the highest torque density, peak bearing capacity, and exceptional reliability in a compact footprint. With 24 sizes offering nominal torque up to 3,000,000 Nm and transmission ratios from 3.55:1 to over 150,000:1, the EP Series provides unmatched configuration flexibility—available in both coaxial (EL) and right-angle (EB) variants with up to four or more reduction stages. Designed with case-hardened external gears and nitride-steel internal gears, these planetary drives excel in heavy-duty environments such as mining conveyors, marine propulsion, water treatment, and steel rolling mills. Each unit arrives pre-tested, factory-filled with PAO-based synthetic oil, and ready for immediate deployment, minimizing commissioning time and maximising return on investment.
