However, drawn cup bearings have lower speed ratings and require precisely machined, hardened, and ground shaft surfaces. Needle roller bearings with machined rings, manufactured from carbon chromium bearing steel, provide higher precision, greater speed capability, and superior load-carrying capacity. They are available with or without inner rings and with or without flanges on the outer ring, offering design flexibility for industrial gearboxes, machine tools, and other demanding applications.
