Reali-Slim TT Turntable Thin Section Bearings
The Reali-Slim TT series is a turntable-style thin section bearing featuring a single four-point contact ball arrangement that accommodates radial, axial, and moment loads simultaneously. Integrated gear teeth on the inner or outer ring enable direct drive without a separate ring gear. TT bearings are designed for precision rotary positioning in wafer inspection stages, CT scanner gantries, and automated assembly turntables. They provide a smooth, stiff, and lightweight rotation interface that combines the functions of a bearing, gear, and mounting flange in one component. SKF supplies TT bearings in standard diameters with a range of gear pitches and precision levels. Customised versions can include mounting holes, integral seals, and corrosion protection.

Combined Load Handling
Four-point contact supports all load types in one bearing.
Direct Drive Integration
With gear teeth, eliminates separate drive pinion interface.
Thin, Lightweight Profile
Substantially lighter than conventional slewing rings.
High Running Accuracy
ABEC 5 to 9 precision for nanometre-level positioning.
Simplified Assembly
Fewer components; bearing mounts directly between machine sections.
Customisable Features
Gear pitch, mounting holes, and coatings engineered to application.
TT Bearings in Semiconductor Wafer Inspection
Wafer inspection stages demand extremely smooth and accurate rotation to align under optics. SKF TT bearings provide the required low runout and stiffness in a lightweight package that allows high-speed scanning without vibration, contributing to higher inspection throughput.

Integrating Drives with TT Turntable Bearings
The gear teeth on a TT bearing mesh directly with a pinion from a servo motor. This direct-drive arrangement eliminates backlash from external gear couplings and reduces the number of mechanical interfaces, improving overall system accuracy and reducing assembly time.
